Summer Camps are over!
We had a wonderful two weeks of farm camp again this year. The first week was warm and the kids went home quite tired each day. The second week was a little cooler which was nice. All the kids went home with a better understanding of what sustainable agriculture means and lots of experience with handling different types of animals. They did a great job training the baby goats to walk on a lead and getting them used to collars and being handled. Some of the highlights were milking the goat, a visit from the veterinarian, a visit from the horse dentist, tri town beach and of course playing every day with the baby goats!
Here are some pictures from week 1. I will be posting more pics from week 2 soon!
